Suit Care Guide

A quality suit is an investment. With proper care, it will maintain its shape, fabric, and appearance for years to come.

After Each Wear

• Hang your suit immediately on a sturdy, wide-shouldered hanger to preserve the jacket’s shape.
• Empty all pockets to avoid stretching or distortion.
• Brush the fabric lightly with a garment brush to remove dust, lint, and surface dirt.
• Allow your suit to rest at least 24 hours between wears so the fibers can recover.

Cleaning

• Dry clean sparingly. Over-cleaning can shorten the life of your suit. Only dry clean when visibly soiled or stained.
• Spot clean when possible using a damp cloth for minor marks.
• Choose a reputable dry cleaner experienced with tailored garments.

Pressing & Steaming

• Use steam rather than direct heat to remove wrinkles whenever possible.
• If ironing is necessary, use low heat and a pressing cloth to protect the fabric.
• Never press directly on lapels, seams, or structured areas.

Storage

• Store in a breathable garment bag—avoid plastic, which can trap moisture.
• Keep suits in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
• During long-term storage, add cedar or natural moth repellents to protect the fabric.

Travel Care

• Fold carefully or use a garment bag when traveling.
• Hang the suit as soon as you arrive and steam out wrinkles.
• Avoid leaving suits in cars or cramped spaces for extended periods.
